2010 Master Gardener State Conference to be held in
Tippecanoe County at Purdue University, June 18-19, 2010
Lafayette and West Lafayette both participated in 2008.Each city judged individually and in different categories, both winning awards for excellence in their divisions.
Since 2001 America in Bloom has encouraged communities across the United States to improve the quality of life for residents and visitors. Judging is in late June and includes neighborhoods, commercial areas and public spaces. The categories judged are: Floral Displays, Environmental Awareness, Landscaped Areas, Urban Forestry, Heritage Preservation, Tidiness, Turf and Groundcovers and Community Involvement.
